The best way to experience the Steel City Quartet is live! Their powerful delivery of gospel music has generated a trademark of highly energized and sound that is distinctively their own style.
During the past three decades the Steel City Quartet has performed throughout the Tri-State area: although their popularity has spread well beyond the boundaries of Pennsylvania, Ohio and West Virginia. They have proven to be one of the few performing gospel groups to provide wholesome comic relief in live concert performances.
Maintaining a steady schedule of concert engagements, the group has performed in well over 3,000 churches, city auditoriums, out-door concerts, benefits, conventions, state and county fairs along with numerous television appearances on WPBC Channel 40.
Members of the Quartet are: Singing tenor is John “Legs” Lawrenzi, well renown for his exquisite crooning style of the fifties and hitting the high notes with ease! Singing baritone is Ron Pry, by far one of the finest baritone singers you will ever hear. "Timothy Charles" Cousino delivers an emotional performance as lead singer. He is bound to keep your toes tapping! Glenn Crawford readily supplies the group with his powerful bass voice that is as rich in tenderness as it is in depth.
